Keyless remote problem

Keyless remote problem

I just purchased a previously owned 2004 MC. The keyless remotes will do everything except, will not open the drivers side door.
Dealer is no help.
Suggestions???

Perhaps the battery in the remote is dead !!

Does the remote lock all the doors?
When using the remote to unlock, does the passenger side door unlock?
