Yep, ran the car through a puddle on a standard city street and drowned the engine. I'll skip the rant, but what is this engine worth? I don't know what exactly is wrong with it, it was running and got the car to the mechanic, but based on his tear-down and assessment price, I just opted to replace the motor. It's a 2004 1.6 liter standard Mini Cooper (not S) motor with 68K miles. I don't have the time/place to part it out and just want to sell it whole.
