Default power steering

Hey Guys, need some help here, My wifes Mini is leaking PS fluid in what appears to be the pump,it is mounted in front of the Rack about 12 " below the resevior, If this is the pump ,what drives it? is it electric ? most pumps are driven by a belt at least, but this one has me. the real question is ,is there an easy way to pull it down enough to find the leak? it appears to be either the end cap ( Black ) or the supply hose from the resevior. Some insight here would be great , Thanks in advance
Randy

Default RE: power steering

It is electric powered pump, more likely the hose, better keep fluid in it or the pump will burn up. the fluid is about $30.00 a liter. 50000 mile warranty on pump.
