Hi
I have a 2003 R50 and recently received the recall notice on power steering assembly.
My problem is a bit more complicated than most other owners.
I had to replace my engine last year due to cooling fan malfunction and overheated engine. The cooling fan was broke because power steering pump fan was broken and they shared one relay. Of course my power steering pump was done too and radiator was replaced then also.
Does anyone know if all them parts can be reimbursed?

I believe the recall is for the pump and fan. I'd recommend asking your dealer about this as it might not be a bad idea to find out. You can also try calling the MINI USA number provided on the notice.
That's what I was thinking to do but just wanted to find out if anyone had similar troubles so that I can have some reference as opposed to calling with not much information.
Have an R52 with the recall , it will cover in the future the Pump and the P/S Fan, plus the wiring harness. The dealership might do the goodwill on some of the other but not all most of the time.
Here are all the parts for reference and the DIY, also listed is the recall and first bulletin.
