Question problem with lights

I just bought a 2002 S and I'm having problems with lights. Some of the lights work and some don't. For example:
- the left signal lights all work, none of the right side work (but the signal flasher blinks correctly on both sides)
- the left low beam works, the right doesn't
- the right high beam works, the left doesn't
- the left front parking light works, the right doesn't
- the right rear parking light works, the left doesn't
- the top light on both rear sides doesn't light (what is it for?)
I've swapped bulbs, checked fuses

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Default

check for voltage at the sockets on the bulbs that are not working

sounds like you have a hell of a mess ... did the car sit for a long time ????
I'm thinking corrosion or rats/mice ate the wiring harness

Default lights problem - operator error

Doh! The problem was a 50 amp Fusible Link.
