Reverse light issue...

We just installed new reverse light switch, bulbs are good, my reverse light is still not working. 05 MC S.
Does anybody have experience with this issue?

Have you checked the fuses ?
Have you checked for voltage at the bulb?
Have you checked the ground?
Switch activaring in gear ?
