My 2003 R50 has problems, thought it was the heater matrix, went to change it today bit it's the water pump, can be sorted, this isn't my issue...
The issue is, when I slid under the front bumper to drain the radiator there is a disconnected wire hanging down, I have no idea where it should go...
I will get a picture when I can, it's dark now...
The wire is single, red with a round black connector, it's a round female socket with a cream coloured rubber grommet approx half way along the black plastic, it runs down in front of the radiator in a black plastic coiled shield...
I know a picture would help but does the description ring any bells with anyone?

 

Found out it's for the con which my r50 dont have...
