Default Which RunFlats to buy?

My wife drives an '05 S convertible and loves it! She's had it a year. It's got Goodyear RS/A's on it and she loves the handling and performance. She enjoys rougher ride characteristics and is not willing to sacrifice performance for ride comfort or noise. I'm shopping for new tires and these Goodyears, as everyone has mentioned are expensive. Well, we didn't buy a cheap car and when it comes to tires, as with so many things in life, quality does not come cheap. But if you check out my favorite tire website, tirerack.com, these goodyears are not only expensive but they are also rated about 15th in the high performance caterogy! So what are we really paying for here?!!!

So, here's the question, is anyone running any other run flats that they're satisfied with the performance. If you've ever run any other tires, and remember what they were - brand, runflat or not, etc. that information would be valuable for comparision's sake. Please include in your response.

Thanks for any help!
Happy motoring!

I ran the Kuhmo runflats , they got twice the mileage as the goodyears and performed better

Dont run anything other than conti pro contact ssr! Everything else is complete junk especially with the abnormal alignment angles that minis run! Dunlop sp sports are junk, bridgestone turanzas are junk.
Make sure you do yourself a favor and get an alignment when you purchase your new tires
