Crazy as this sounds b/c I've driven a ton of manual shift cars. I tend to keep the rpm's down when I drive my cars. But this is the first supercharged car I've owned--'04 Cooper S--6 speed manual.
So is it ok to drive the car in 6th gear while keeping the rpm's low but without lugging it down?
Not sure if this will interfere with the supercharger or not. I'm new here too, so I"m curious to know.

 

since the s/c runs at idle you likely can't go lower then that ...
