Hello to all! This is my first post and normally would not start this way on a new forum, but I can't find any info on my problem anywhere online. I need to pick people up from airport today for holiday and the mini is down. My nearest mini repair is an hour away : \
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Our mini suddenly wont start.....this wouldn't be so strange, but when you do release the start button it doesn't stop cranking. If you hit the button again, it will stop cranking. I can smell fuel so I don't think its starving. I don't know anything about his ignition system. Motor is turning so starter is engaging. I don't know if something else could be wrong and this is just a symptom so it doesn't start, maybe?? A safety mode maybe. The car has been running fine and I wouldn't think a safety mode would not allow it to stop cranking without hitting button again...
