Hey fellas I am a new member to your guys forum and a proud onwer of a 05 mini cooper s I am getting ready to do a tune and I was wondering what would you guys recommened for spark plugs and wires and what else could I do to Get my mini running better. also this might be a stupid question but My mini is a "checkmate" what does that mean ? thank you guys for your input. ..... chris

 

NGK plugs and Magnacore wires

 

I second the NGK's. Get the IX series. Those are a great plug.

 

OEM plugs, i have seen some cars come in with bad misfire codes for straying away from oem plugs. Aftermarket wires don't do s**t. trust me!!!!!
