Default Thoughts on diagnostic tool

Just purchased my first MINI, a 2004 R53 in beautiful condition. One small issue though, apparently, according to the previous owner, after switching from run flats to regular tires the TPMS indicator came on and is still on. It's not blinking as it would with a normal pressure issue. It's on all the time as well as the check maintenance light?

Not sure if this car has separate sensors for each tire and maybe one was damaged during the installation, or if it's something else. After doing research I came across a diagnostic tool, the iCarSoft i910, which is reasonably priced and seems pretty handy. Wanted to get your thoughts on it or something similar as well as the current issue I'm dealing with.

Thanks in advance for your input. Cheers.

p.s. The car runs perfectly and the tires seem to be properly mounted, balanced, and pressured.
