A question about the tow hook that comes with the third gen minis. Mine is a 2017 Cooper S. What is the thread size? I have not been able to match the thread with any Imperial or Metric sizes. Has anyone successfully found a thread size that will fit the nut welded on to the inner bumper? Failing to be able to find a bolt that will fit that thread, is there a source for a replacement tow hook at a reasonable price. So far the ones I've seen online are hugely expensive. The reason for these questions is that I'm building a bike carrier and would like to use that point as an anchor and do not want to destroy my original. Thanks in advance.
