I just purchased a 2016 hardtop, very clean and essentially still new. A question about voice command though... this car has only the basic radio, no nav or entertainment upgrades. My phone connects right up with the car, but the voice control button does nothing. No beep or response from the screen at all. Is this function disabled when the car doesn't have an upgraded package? It would seem odd to still have the button if the function wasn't there. Also, my phone is an Android. Would this make a difference? On the phone's device details showing the connection with the car, "share contacts" is enabled. I really want to be able to do voice dialing in the car.
