Will a 2011 motor work in my 2008

Default Will a 2011 motor work in my 2008
I have a 2008 mini cooper hardtop NON S. It needs a new motor. I found a motor from a 2011 NON S. Will this motor work with no issues?

No, for a direct swap you will need a 2007-2010, 2011 is N16 engine. You have an N12. You would have to change out the wires and possible ecu.
