Default Window close problem

Hi, just purcahsed an '08 Cooper S. I'm assuming I have to take it in to be serviced for this problem, but I was just wondering if any new Mini owners have experienced this:

My passenger side window doesn't zip shut when the door is closed. I have to do it manually now. I'm sure this is a malfunction, but wondering if I can avoid the lost workday required to get my car into the dealership.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

All The auto up windows need to be initialized when the vehicle goes thru the pre-delivery inspection. If not they do not work properly.
The usual way to initialize them is: have the ignition on, with the door closed roll the window all the way down and holding the button down. After the window reaches the bottom of its travel, hold the button down for 3 seconds more. Then roll the window all the way up holding the button up and hold it in the up position for 3 seconds after it reaches the top of its travel. This is the way it was done on BMW's and should be the same procedure.

Many thanks I had to charge the battery on my wife's car and had the problem with the windows not closing when I got out.

The method worked perfectly.
