I love my 2013 hardtop and have had no problems. However, the other day, both windows were open about 6 inches--the identical amount on each side. I know that I did not leave them open, and there were zero signs of vandalism/break in. Both doors were locked Nobody else uses my car. The only explanation I can think of is that some bug in the system opened the windows automatically. Is this even possible?

 

If your press and hold the key fob door lock open button it automatically drops the windows then open the sunroof.

If you have the key in your pocket this might have happened and if your close to your MINI and its in your pocket and bump it for a short period of time.
