I took my car (R55 Clubman) in for an oil change awhile back and the dealership put on new wiper blades because it was still under the service program. I did not need new wipers and I almost asked for the old ones to keep as a spare - now I'm wishing I had.

Anyway. . . I swear that the old driver side was longer than what they put on. I need new wipers now and currently my driver side is 18" and the passenger side is 19" however looking at comments on another forum I'm started to realizing that most of the posts were from the UK. So instead of terms of driver and passenger, should my left wiper be 18" and the right 19"?

I know it's not the best picture, but hopefully you get the idea - are things flipped in the US?
