09 Mini Cooper S door pin...

I've looked all over for a "door pin".... can anyone tell me what mechanism triggers the interior lights when the doors are opened? Thanks!

hello,

The lights are triggered by the opening of the door lock or when you use the key fob to unlock the doors . They dont have door pins.
