Does any one else find some parts of the Mini just completely frustrating?

I'm a petite girl, which is why I love my Mini Cooper S. But when it comes down to situations like this, I'm screwed in terms of this car.

I try to open the hood, but you know there's the latch that you have to open as well when you pull the switch in the front. My fingers are too short to reach the latch under the bonnet of the Mini Cooper. I can't open it all the way.

All I wanted to do was add windshield wiper fluid. Now I have to wait for some one with longer fingers to help me out.

Any solutions?
