I have a 2017 clubman s. I have the same problem five times now, all quite randomly. There is an extremely loud and startling thump that sounds as if something has fallen on the roof and then the start up menu reboots. I am driving at the time and there is nothing obvious that preceeds it. Not sure if i could replicate it for the dealer as it is so random. I've had the car for 5 months. Has anyone else had this? Any thoughts? Thanks!
