I am in USA and bought a 1992 Mini Mayfair in London for the Mongel Rally I am about to participate in. I bought it sight unseen and no test drive. I will arrive a few days early to get it ready for our trip.

I am designing an item that will be mounted on the roof, but do not have the dimensions of the roof. Can anybody help me with those measurements?

Also, I am looking for a reasonably cheep set of roof bars or roof carrier for the car. If anybody sees this in London, that would be a plus as we are on a budget for this event.
