I have a 2010 Mini Cooper S convertible. I checked the oil, level was fine, but when I reinserted the dipstick, it will not go in all the way. It feels like it bounces back slightly as if it were on a rubber band. Engine runs fine, there are no engine codes, nor is the check engine light on. What could cause this obstruction? Any help is appreciated.
