Lightened Flywheel- MINI R53 lightweight aluminum flywheel with replaceable friction disc. We have been using lightweight flywheels in all our cars for over 10 years, they are one of the best mods you can do when you replace your clutch. By reducing the weight of the flywheel the motor can rev quicker causing faster acceleration of the car. We have found the lightweight flywheel to be repeatedly 2 tenths of a second and 1 mph quicker than the stock flywheel on an 1/8 mile drag strip.
