Default Clunking Noise in Low gear

In my experienced with my 2004 Mini Cooper S the clunking noise is coming from the Sway Bar linkage ....Replace the Sway Bar bushing and both linkage bushing... i replace my linkage bushing with "Moog brand" it cost only $15.00 each at AutoParts Express.com..Goodluck.

Maybe check your suspension bushings and also your engine mounts for wear. We have an article here that can help you with the location of the mounts and talks about them a bit.
