Default 2003 Mini Cooper "S" - First-Time Owner

Here is my new-to-me 2003 Mini Cooper S:

So far, with exception to the limited capabilities of the stereo HU, I am thrilled with everything about the car, and glad I changed my mind from going with an Acura TL.

My other vehicle is a 1993 Land Cruiser, lifted, etc., so getting accustomed to a vehicle of this size will be interesting, to say the least. But, I must say; I am having a blast.

I'm like you, I moved from driving full size PU's for years to the Mini. Takes some serious getting used to being smaller than most other vehicles when I'm used to being bigger.

But it sure is fun to zip around.

I used to think I needed to see above all of the other cars; now, I don't think about it like that. I think this car makes one think that they're in a bigger vehicle, or at least not care that they're in a smaller vehicle.

I haven't decided on which applies, or if it even matters, at this point.

        Thank you for your service.

I just bought a 2003 Mini Cooper S also. I got tired of my 1999 F150 sucking my wallet dry. Originally got the car for the gas mileage but now I love so much more about it.
