Just bought a 2004 Base for my son....I figured I had better get on a forum so I have access to problem solving on a 14 y/o BMW w no warranty. Such a cool little car....Hope to learn a lot here. Anything I need to know, Problem areas.....things to keep an eye on..etc. I do need a new Muffler....any suggestions would be great. Looking for inexpensive, yet pleasing to the 18 y/o ear.....but not annoying to the 52 year old ear One question....I am sure I will find 2000 threads on this topic....I just noticed last night when I picked it up it says Premium Unleaded........Necessary???? I highly doubt it was fed that for its 88K miles. Thanks guys/gals...Hope to learn from you all.
