So my 2009 mini vert has started blinking the high/low beams, taillights, dashlights and accent lighting recently. Now it is doing more often requiring me to shut off the car and remove the key to reset everything. Then today the windows were not functioning right either. What could it be?

 

MINI's tend to have all sorts of weird electrical gremlins when a battery is on its way out. I'd first recommend to test your battery and see what voltage it's at. Also, check and make sure there is no water inside the vehicle. Check in the footwells and if you have a sunroof check around it to make sure there are no leaks from it inside the vehicle.
