Looks like some kind of weird cross between a Hyundai Accent hatch and a PT Cruiser. Maybe mechanically it's a great car, but stylistically it's nowhere near as smart as a MINI.

You gotta be kidding. You'd trade your Mini for that thing?

No I'm not kidding, guys... from the extetically point of view, I find it emotional and very similar to "Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione"(Italian exotic sport car). And, you know, Alfa Romeo's cars are the best TA actually , and I think this one will be very sporty and safe. I think MiTo will get Mini worried in the race tracks. Have you ever driven an Alfa Romeo (such as the "Milano", for example...)?

I haven't seen an Alfa Romeo for decades around here (Northwest USA). I am sure they are a good car. On the race track, it will probably go to the best driver. I still gotta honestly say that it's looks havent exactly got me excited, or even mildy emotional, to own one.

Yeah Cougsfan, I understand and respect your point of view, but I just wanna say that, this MiTo will be able to achieve new limits, in tracks and in the streets too! You know,my fatherowned an Alfa Romeo 164 and then, an Audi and a Mercedes. The internal quality was better on A4 and C Class. But Alfa Romeo has something that both two german cars haven't. Alfa had a Sporty Soul. Truly!! Believe me! You must try, at least once in a lifetime, to drive an Alfa, if you really got a passion for cars. Promise ;P

Bought an Alfa new in 1973. Beautiful car. Handled great. Blew 2 head gaskets, one under warranty...the other I had to pay 50%. Sold it in the second year of ownership. Hope their quality control has improved.
