Is there a big difference in the ride, especially on highway and long trips, between the Clubman and Hardtop? Is it quiet from road noise and smooth ride? Thanks for opinion.

I can tell you that there is a pretty big difference between the Convertible and the Clubman. My Convertible does not have the Sport Package but my wife did not like how stiff the suspension felt. She did like the Clubman.

Haven't driven the hardtop except for test drives. My suggestion would be for you to drive both. I am not aware of any differences between the convertible and the hardtop as both use the same suspension (reg or sport).

The Clubman definitely has a quieter ride.
