Hello from Indy
Hello. I'm new to the forum, but from previous experience with similar sites (other makes) I know this can be a wealth of information especially for newbies like me.
I don't own a mini, at least not yet, but have been thinking a lot about getting one in the next year. I'll probably buy used when I do make the move. I do have a couple of questions for you more experienced owners.
I have been a Toyota owner for several years now and have become spoiled by their reliability. I am curious about the general reliability of the mini. My nearest Toyota dealer is about 20 miles away, but the nearest mini dealer is more like 50 miles away. So dealer service could be an issue for me.
I am also curious about handling in winter. I currently own a 1991 MR2 which has been our daily driver 9 months out of the year (mid-engine means no go in snow). If I get a mini to replace the 2 then it will also likely become the DD.
As a potential mini owner I would welcome any and all advice.
