I Have a question i'm in the market for a mini ! I'm not sure witch mini I should get eather the mini S or the mini jhon cooper works . I was wondering if there is a big diffrence in performance between the two and if it's worth the diffrence in price . i'm looking to by a used model 2007- 2012 . All opinions greatly apostated thanks! really looking for good 0-60 pull

 

Look at the specs 181/203 hp 22 hp difference it's not a huge difference drive the 2 and compare

 

The John Cooper works Mini has about 5k $ worth of performance upgrades, it's a complete package. It's a Mini for the racetrack so it only fun on smooth roads.
I just bought a 2012 cooper s but now I wish I had bought the JCW GP model.

 

Very little difference in performance.works has better brakes and a few other bits.less works coppers around but is it worth the extra money for a works badge,only you know the answer.good luck with either choice both great cars.
