Default I want a mini! But I need some info!

I have my heart set on buying a mini cooper in the next 6 months. I was just wondering if anyone can let me know how they feel about their mini after 6 months to a year, or even years, of driving it? All input is appreciated! Thanks so much!

Default 2010 Mini

I l;ove my Mini and would recommend one to anyone. The handling is tight the acceleration is outstanding and I really like the gas mileage. I traded a diesel truck for it and was worried that I would feel to low to the ground, but it has not affected my sense of ride at all.

Default Newer Is Better

Newer is better. The technology of today is better and more reliable. I guess I have good luck with mechanical things. Sorry that you can't give a good comment for your Mini. If you don't buy new you should get a mechanical reading on it before you buy.

Default Odd Happening

Has any body had this happen...
We had a bad wind storm the other night, which is not unusual for this area, and the next morning I went out to start my other vehicle and needed to get something out of my Mini and found both windows down and the sunroof venting. I didn't have the fob with me and hadn't used it for a couple of days. So what do you think....

@willierock: Not personally, but my stepdaughter has reported that twice while she was using the car, she was driving along and without warning both windows rolled down and the sunroof opened. I have no idea what causes it.
