Thumbs up Just got my Mini Cooper!

On Monday I traded in my 09 Dodge Journey money-pit in for a 2009 Mini Cooper S. Since I'm brand new to the world of the Mini Cooper, I thought I'd join up and learn as much as I can about this awesome new ride.

What options were standard on a plain Mini Cooper S? Mine has a TON of features, and since I bought it used from a Dodge dealership they really didn't know much about the car. I guess I'm trying to figure out what is standard, and what was optional.

The car is laser blue metallic, dual sunroof, two tone leather trim interior, ambient lighting, bluetooth sync, USB and Aux jacks, heated seats, SUPER dark tint on the windows (I'm guessing that was aftermarket, but I could be wrong...) I'm probably missing a few things on this list...

What I can say is after having the car for two days I absolutely, positively LOVE THE MINI. It is peppy, responsive, turns on a dime, and is no slouch on the highway. Plus the sheer number of women that have ogled the car (unexpected benefit? )....make me wonder why I ever owned anything but a Mini.

So there's my introduction...look forward to chatting with you folks!

Congrats on the new Mini. I just got mine a little over a week ago and feel everything about it that you stated. Its a ton of fun to drive. Remember to use Premium fuel in it, just in case you don't have the owner's manual.

I stopped at Wendy's drive thru and the girl at the window went nuts when she saw the car. LOL I'm 54 and she was probably 16, so.....

Yep, fortunately I got the owner's manual, and nothing but premium shall ever touch it.

Hopefully the previous owner took as good care of it, but that's the caveat to buying used I suppose, you just never know...
