Hello, I am a new member to the forum but I have been lurking for quite some time. I have been shopping for a used Mini and have recently come across a 2007 Mini S with 79,xxx miles for $7000 OBO. I will be looking at it sometime this week and I wanted to get some opinions on the top things I should look out for when test driving a new Mini? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

I'd also like to point out that it is an automatic transmission.

 

Well you definitely want to watch out for ticking sounds when the engine is running. Also clicking sounds when you turn the steering wheel either way. Just try and do a thorough check inside and out. Good luck!

 

It is better to be safe than sorry! Thorough inspection of a used car is always better than gambling in my opinion!
