Many M1N1 Questions...
So I have a 2000 VW Golf 1.8T and after I took it in for my last check up my rear bushing bearings need to be replaced and my front shocks are going out along with a whole list of other problems and I was just curious about a few things before I went and purchased one. (any help would be really appreciated)
1) Mechanically are there any differences between the Cooper and Cooper S (other than the S/C)?
2) My plan is to install a turbo kit in it in a year or so after I get the $$$ saved up for it, does anyone have one installed? If so is it pretty tough given the space and how much boost can you get out of it?
3) Have you had any major issues with them?
4) Will you sell me yours?

but two things
that kit is for the S version, if I get a base model will I receive less with another kit? Also do you have the same injectors and ECU in yours?

A few more ?'s if you don't mind...
are you running the Alta T/C?
how much PSI is safe them?
and would it be better to just buy the base and get the kit or go with the S and do the t/c+s/c set up? because if there's a pretty big difference with double chargers I might as well buy the S...

oooh I keep getting mixed reviews on MPGs for the Base and S models
One site said the S is averaging 23.5 mpg and 16mpg at the lowest, what do you usually get?
