My wife has wanted a Mini since they first returned to the states but I was sceptical until yesterday when I drove it and was blown away by how sweet the car feels. I am 6' 5" and 300+ lbs and still enjoyed driving it.

So my question to the forum is regarding the pricing of these babies. We are looking at the 2008 Cooper S with the sports and convenience packages and the MSRP is around $27,000. Then the dealer tacks on a "market adjustment" of $4000. Dude that is some serious cash for a toy.

Anyone know of a way to purchase this baby without incurring the added cost above MSRP?
