My name is Andy and I recently purchased an 05 topless Mini S


I purchased the car with the intent of building a custom Mr. Bean tribute car for my special needs son who is the biggest Mr Bean fan ever.



This was the day of paint which is the perfect Mr. Bean green. The pictures look a little more yellow than it is, but its truly the right Bean green.

That is pretty excellent! Does the bean face in the rear obstruct your vision? I used to love watching reruns on PBS - did you like the movies?

 

We love everything Mr. Bean, he even has a very funny cartoon series. The space between the seats in the convertible is all you see out of in the rear view so the Bean face doesn't obstruct anything. Everyone who sees Mr. Bean in the back usually cracks a smile I spot a lot of people driving behind me taking pics.

That is pretty fantastic! You should take it one step further and put some lcd screens in the car that have Bean episodes on loop. Delightful, yes.

 

Just got approval from NJ DMV for my personalized plates. Should be getting them in a few weeks MBEAN

And I like the idea of the looping Mr Bean episodes

Is that the cemetery that over looks the terrace on the green? If so, I know the area very well - it's extremely scenic.

 

No this is in Clifton NJ a very scenic spot with a great view of the NYC skyline, and it's a quiet spot too. Enjoy the ride
