Default My new AC Shnitzer mini

SO, I finally got my hands on a mini cooper s

I picked up an R53 for $2,500 with only 30,000 miles on the clock. Quite the score if you ask me.

I've noticed that it has:

-AC Schnitzer Strut Brace ($300)
-AC Schnitzer Valve Cover (??)
-AC Schnitzer Wheels (??)
-AC Schnitzer Clutch, Accelerator, and brake pedals (??)
-AC Schnitzer Handbrake and shift-**** (??)
-Brembo big front brake kit ($Alot.)

After noticing all these fancy labels, I'm really hoping the previous owner put an AC Schnitzer Computer in the car. I am not really sure how to find out though, I have never done anything with performance chips.

Why did I get this mini so cheap?

Well let me start off by saying, I bought this car from a salvage yard, and I can only assume they did not know what they had. However, those Brembos are hard to miss... and I cannot find anything online saying that they ever came factory with Brembos.

That being said, The car has horrible hail damage. There is a dent on every panel on the body, especially the hood. I need to replace the windshield, L headlight, and battery. I also had to replace the sunroof. In addition the speakers aren't hooked up(How horrible right?).

Fortunately, I don't care about the dents because I find it to be beautiful anyway. I will likely be around these forums a lot.

Thanks for reading!
Dan

Very nice, we carry AC Schnitzer now. Post up pics on the intake, if it has it and the upgraded injectors, it might have the tune.

Very Rare MINI indeed.

Replacing this xenon light was an expensive fix.
