I just recieved an 06 mini s for my anniversary. love the car but drove it one day and the check engine light came on. took it to a relative at local repair shop put it on computar and 5 codes came up. I call a bmw dealeship and they told me thier codes weren't compatibale with what i gave them! What? So i am womdering if anybody can crack my codes on this day old car! p0700, p0136, p1776, p1777, p1775. thnx

 

I also have codes 0700 and 1776. 0700 appears to be a "transmission control unit" but 1776 is in the range that is specific to the automobile manufacturer, and I don't have the list for MINI/BMW. Help would be appreciated!

 

I don't have my manual with me , go to autozone ect as they can give you a printout off the codes /causes
