Never thought I could love a car so much
I just purchased a 2011 mini cooper clubman yesterday. I really love this little car - never thought I would love a car this much
I had been visiting the mini website quite a bit (trying out different builds and options) and have been interested in the clubman since they were introduced in 2008. The countryman also looked interesting and for a while I couldn't decide which one to get. The recent extra incentives on the clubman, conisting of a 0.9% interest rate for 60 months, plus the free premium package was enough to sway me towards the clubman, and when the Seattle dealer happened to have one in stock that was a pretty close match to what I wanted, I took the plunge and bought it after a test drive. I just love the sun roof (and everything about this little car), and the polar white leather w/ black cloth interior makes for a nice match with the outside of the car. I'm also impressed with the sound system & controls for ipod, memory sticks, bluetooth, etc. There are alot of little things that Mini does with these cars that make them so unique and cool. I also just love how customizable they are with so many different options, and I like things that are unique in a tasteful way.
2011 clubman - pepper white with black roof and c pillars
Polar white leather & black cloth interior & polar white color line
premium package (sunroof, harmon kardon sound system, auto AC)
cold weather package (heated seats, heated washer jets)
xenon headlamp and fog lights
roof rails
ipod/bluetooth adapter
16" 6 spoke alloy wheel upgrade w/ all season runflat tire
I opted for the non-S (base) version as mileage and cost savings is more important to me than the extra power and sportiness. I find that even when I have 4 adults in the car it has enough power and take off for me. Also the base engine takes the "plus" gas while the S version requires premium, saving a little on fuel costs there as well.
I hope to have this car for a very long time

Cheers to you and your new MINI!! Sounds great! Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. It's funny...it's more than a car somehow...kind of like a car and a pet at the same time for me.
Have fun!
