Just to introduce myself. I have wanted to purchase a Mini Cooper for several years. It just hasn't happened yet.
I will be dropping in on the forum to learn more and ask questions.

I live in Los Angeles, I currently drive an '98 VW Golf, an A4 Audi and a Toyota Prius. I read and contribute to a
forum called "Priuschat.com" and "Audiworld.com".

My interest is in a used Mini, 2004 and up. Manual (absolutely) transmission. It would replace my VW Golf as a
commuter car (almost all city street driving).

I really enjoy driving, but I'm done with those days of crawling under the car and changing my own oil. I really like
small cars that can dart around the lumbering SUVs of LA. I enjoy driving canyon roads and also like going on long
road trips. (Longest single trip so far: 5500 miles)

So, I plan on dropping in now and again... Hope to learn lots about the Cooper. -WantaMini
