The new guy...
Hey to all,
I am new to the forum, I have a 03 MCS 6spdred, black top, white bonnet strips, cold weather package, navi. I have also installed aDinan stage 2 ECU upgrade, Dinan front strut brace, and Dinan high flow intake box. I have also modified the exhaust slightly, but it is not a full cat-back system simply a bit of a tone changer and a SLIGHT increase in power.I am new to the Cooper S but not new too 'british' cars. I also have a 1972 MG Midget. I absolutely love the MCS I've only had it approx 3 months, and I can't wait to put even more mods on it, especially for handling... he he he. The car is a blast and I'm hoping to learn more about it. Most of it I can figure out since I am an ASE certified technician... but hey, I don't know everything lol.
I did have one question just really quick... I have a boost gauge, but I would like to install a water temp gauge, I was wondering if anyone knew to use an electric gauge or some other type. If you could please let me know it would be greatly appreciated as I want to keep an eye on my engines vitals... especially when I'm at the autocross!!
