Hey guys this is my first time posting. I got my girl a 09 Mini cooper that I took in trade since she has always wanted on but she runs through cars like crazy so I always get her a cash car. This mini was hard to pass up previous owner was a 75yr old lady who owned the car from day one. She put 86k on the vehicle and had all the recommend services done to it. Car is cleaner than some of the used cars we have here on the lot. Well now shes put 6k miles on it and we got our 1st check engine light. I pulled the codes and this is what I got

Now I am used to Fords, GM, Hyundai/Kia, Dodge and toyota. One thing is my code reader didnt give me an option to select Mini Cooper, but a mechanic here said to select BMW so not sure if the codes were picked up correctly.

The car had a very hard shift coming out of park then into reverse, and into drive. I had her pull over and turn off the car then turn it on again. The car acted normal again.
