Got my hands on my mom's old Mini 2006, and took it down to Texas from Toronto, Ontario. Still trying to figure out the limited computer in this car in order to change the digital speed readout to mph from kph. If you have any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them!

PelicanParts.com, ECSTuning: both of these references seem to be for later models that have the more complex computer. My 2006 model has only a single button for the computer on the turning single bar. The computer display only shows either the speed in kph or, with the click of the single button, temperature in Celcius. Any other ideas?

I've read through your previous link's contents twice now. The thread you linked to is under the Gen 1 section, so I assume you mean that you've linked to the correct page directly and that I don't have to click through to anywhere.

The only solution on the page that seemed viable was the one that said to push the menu button on the radio, but my car doesn't have a menu button on the radio... thoughts?

Ah yes, my apologies. From what I am finding you have to take your MINI to the dealer as they should be able to reprogram it. You can, however, change your temp gauge from F to C yourself if needed. At this thread below:

Nope... There's no Auto button on my climate control. I'm starting to get the impression that it is in fact impossible or that a dealer is required.

In your owners manual.

http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/CAR...l%20Models.pdf

Page 48 Programs from MINI dealership.

Page 66 explains what can be done and page 48 states the program.

Thanks
