New to the forum and the Minis.

Have a 2012 Mini Cooper S and becoming familiar with it.

New myself. Just purchased a 2012 hard top and salesman said that the car only requires MID grade fuel. What have they told you about fuel?

 

I took the time to read the manual which stated that although the car only needed minimum grade 87, it recommended at least 91 so that the engine didn't develop noticeable knocks and sounds. I have been using premium and with the great gas mileage it is still a great deal!
