Hi. My name is Irvin. My wife and I just recently bought a 2009 Cooper S. I'm not really looking to modify it to track it out or anything. I do enjoy some of the more tasteful mods, but first and foremost I'm looking to keep this car running for as long as I can. I just want a clean running car. If there are any folks out there with maint advice, shop reccomendations, or general advice, I'd like to hear it. I plan on doing the majority of the maintenance myself. Thanks.

 

Try n make friends who work in a BMW dealership. They are the guys to talk to because they are the ones who see the Minis come in for repairs. My best friends' brother works at a BMW dealership so he gives me a heads up. As for tips, I use fuel injection cleaner every other tank fill. I use Chevron supreme gas and full synthetic oil.
