Long story short, our family van was dying and I found myself buying a 2009 Mini Cooper! Now, of course we also got a van... but that's another story .

I've had it about a week, and so far I'm very impressed and enjoy the ride. Truth be told, though, a dump truck would be more fun to drive than the Chevy Cobalt I've been stuck with for almost a decade.

So, as I'm looking at maintenance and maybe some upgrades, I'll be looking for advice and reading through the forum.

Oh and being over 6 foot tall, the looks from the folks I work with on the first day I drive into work... and I get out of a tiny bumble bee... Priceless!
