New Mini Owner from SoCal

I just got my 2006 mini about two months ago. It only had 13,000 miles and alot of character so I fell in love with it. I've fixed up the look a bit, but I'm looking to make it a little more fun to ride. any ideas?

I'm looking at some different wheels...most of them for the mini's are too bubbly for my taste. I really want mesh ones but I can't find any.
