Hi!
Three days ago I was finally able to buy my first MINI. I've wanted one for years, and I'll be the first to say it was worth the wait.
My previous vehicle was a 2012 Nissan Juke, but it was totaled in an accident about two weeks ago. I replaced it with a 2008 MINI Cooper, which I've taken to affectionately calling "Nigel".
I mostly use him for work (I deliver for Jimmy John's) and I have to say that I couldn't be happier with the fuel consumption. I'm averaging about 39mi/gal right now, although to be fair it's mostly been freeway driving because I live 45 minutes away.
Anyway, I'm happy to be here! I'll post some photos when I have a chance to take some more.

Welcome to MINI Cooper Forums! Congratulations on your purchase of Nigel. Is it a Base non-turbo or S? The fuel economy is great on the R56. Definitely post photos when you can and if you ever need anything be sure to let me know.
Hey you can also give a try to Jaguar. I have used Jaguar for nearly 7 years and believe me whether it's a 45 mins distance or a 2 hours journey, this marque will never give you a hitch. If you want you can start with a second hand Jaguar and Big Boy Toyz have a good collection of it. (https://www.bigboytoyz.com/jaguar)
